Phosphor Application Research, Lumileds Development Center Aachen. (2014 – today)
Research on LED Phosphors and their interactions in mid-power LEDs, at the Converter Research Laboratory.
Translate the results towards sample production line. Building prototype customer samples and definition of new recipes for production of prototype LED’s.
Highlights: Patent for phosphor based blue LED with pigments and Philips Recognition for achievements in 200lm/W midpower LED in 2014. (At this moment 4 days/week).

Development NPI Garnets (LED Phosphors), Philips Lighting Maarheeze (2012 – today)
Development of LED Phosphors and their release in the Production department. Member of B2B-sales team LED Phosphors. Technical advice and production of samples on lab scale, in cooperation with customers. Highlight: Release of new developed green phosphor, up to milestone Product Design Frozen. (1 day/week).

Product Development Lumiramics, Lumileds Maarheeze (2010 -2012)
Highlights: Release of screen print process and laminating process in the production area of Lumiramics, inclusive the release of several products. Implementation of a procedure for dry ice shipment of laminates. The development of one-way supporting foils with release in the Conventional Chemicals Department of Philips Lighting Maarheeze. All inclusive necessary documentation and instruction of people.

Operational Distribution Specialist, Philips Lighting Maarheeze (2008 – 2010)
Orderdesk-, back-office- and forwarding activities. Support contacts between (development) department, Color Conversion Department and customers all over the world. Highlight: Passing exam as Green Belt: Introduction of a special cardboard box, for shipment of dangerous liquids, with as result: reduction of transport costs, packing directly during production, reduction of necessary storage capacity (buildings).

Development assistant Lamp Phosphors, Philips Lighting Maarheeze (2000 – 2008)
Member of the Sales Team Lamp Phosphors. Development of new phosphors for existing customers and dedicated samples for new customers.
Highlight: Leader of a multidisciplinary team: The technical release of premixed phosphor mixes, in close negotiation with Indian (Havels) and Japanese customer (NEC). Turnover of shipments during releasing period 1.2 M€, resulting in an extra potential of 20M€ on yearly basis for Production department.

Development Assistant Philips Deurne Netherlands (1992 – 1997)
Metal Research on wire and lead in wires for conventional lighting. Investigation of physical characteristics of (leading) wires. Chemical analyses of nickel plating bath at galvanic department.

Chairman of foundation Fuse StreetRock (music festival) (2002 – Today), member of supervisory board Youth Center (2003 – Today), member of Brainstorm Group for the for the preparation of the Touristic Recreative Vision of township Gemert-Bakel 2009 – 2013 (2009); Main result: Establishment of Foundation of Gemert-Bakel Toerisme & Recreatie (GBT), member of „Bakel Lives“. Group for promotion of the village Bakel, in cooperation with entrepreneurs association Bakel (2011-2012).
